Time Deposit Placement
  1. You can choose time deposit service that best meets your needs.

  2. The annual interest rate shown during the transaction is the real-time interest rate of the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to revise the deposit interest rate from time to time.

  3. In the event that the time deposit placement involves currency exchange, the real-time exchange rate will be applied when the placement is executed.

  4. You may designate any of the following 45 days (except Sundays and public holidays) as the "Effective Date" of your time deposit. In such case, your instructions will be executed at about 9:00am on the "Effective Date". The deposit interest rate and exchange rate will be subject to the quotes by the Bank at the time when the instruction is executed.

    # For time deposit placement made between 13:00 to 16:00 on Saturdays, the funds can only be withdrawn from an account denominated in the same currency.
    ## The cut-off time of Amendment to Maturity is one working day before withdrawal. If that day is between Monday to Friday, the cut-off time is 20:00. If that day is on Saturdays, the cut-off time is 16:00.
    * For time deposit withdrawal made between 13:00 to 14:30 on Saturdays, the funds can only be credited to an account denominated in the same currency.

Transaction Record Enquiry
  1. If you are not able to access your time deposit record, please contact your account-opening branch.

  2. Amendment to maturity instruction is only applicable to undue time deposit.

  3. You can click "Withdrawal" button to withdraw the time deposit on the maturity date, and the funds will be credited to your account.

  4. You may access the records of completed transactions and scheduled instructions.

  5. You may amend or withdraw the scheduled instructions if necessary.

  6. Amendment or cancellation of the joint account scheduled instructions is only available to the joint account holder who placed the instruction.
