Under the "Category", you can firstly select the consolidated statement, daily/monthly securities statement/ securities advice, daily/monthly statement of precious metal and FX margin trading account, credit card monthly statements, funds monthly statement/advice, notional precious metals passbook account advices/confirmations, structured investments advices/confirmations, currency linked investments monthly statement/advice/confirmations, bonds/certificate of deposit and equity linked investments/ structured notes daily statement/monthly statement/advice or non-investment products advices, and select the account and then press "Search". After that, the relevant e-Statement/e-Advice hyperlinks will be displayed according to the most recent months.
  4. E-Statement/e-Advice is displayed in PDF format. You may need to install an appropriate software in your computer in order to view or print the e-Statement/e-Advice.
  5. For security reason, you are advised to close the pop-up window after reading your e-Statement/e-Advice. Please also print out or download the e-Statements/e-Advices for your record.

    • You can inspect your monthly securities statement, funds monthly statement, bonds/certificate of deposit monthly statement, equity linked investments/structured notes and currency linked investments monthly statement at "Consolidated Statement" under the selection of "Statement Type".
    • If you cannot view Consolidated Statements of the past 7 years, please contact Customer Service Hotline at (852) 3988 2388 or visit any of our branches.
  7. Securities Consolidated Daily Statement
    • Transaction details of all securities accounts under your name will be listed in the Securities Consolidated Daily Statement. If the "address" or "language" setting for any of your securities accounts is different from your other securities account(s), we will provide you with a standalone daily securities statement in respect of that account.
    • If the "receive securities e-Statement" settings for any of your securities account(s) is(are) different from your other securities account(s) , we will provide you both "electronic" and "paper (mail)" securities consolidated daily statement for all securities account under your name.
    • You can change the setting in "e-Statement Maintenance" anytime.
  8. Credit Card and Express Cash Card e-Statement
    • You can view the e-Statements of your BOC Credit Card and BOC Express Cash Card accounts via Internet Banking (including all BOC Credit Cards and BOC Express Cash Cards applied via Bank of China (Hong Kong), Nanyang Commercial Bank Limited or Chiyu Banking Corporation Limited).
    • Gradually accumulated to 84 months from April 2020
    • If you want to view statements of your BOC Credit Card and BOC Express Cash Card accounts of the past 7 years, please contact Customer Service Hotline at (852) 2853 8828.

  10. Insurance Statement / Notice
    • The function is only for enquiring statement/notice of life insurance policy issued by BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited (“BOC Life”) and the application of such policy is submitted through Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (“BOCHK”). The function is applicable to “Anniversary Statement”, “Maturity Notice”, “Policy Value Projection”, “VHIS Proof of Premium Payment” and” Annual Summary of Qualifying Deferred Annuity Policy” with retention period of 4 years. The document image of insurance statement/notice is provided by BOC Life. Please download and save a copy of relevant documents if needed. You can visit BOC Life e-service platform to inquire other electronic statement / notice.

e-Statement/e-Advice Maintenance

  1. If you have registered any joint accounts on Internet Banking, you can choose Customer Name for e-Statement Maintenance.
  2. You can choose to receive e-Statement/e-Advice, or resume receiving paper statements/advices via Internet Banking. You can also change the language of the e-Statement (not applicable to Private Banking e-Statements).
  3. Once the e-Statement/e-Advice service is registered and becomes effective, the Bank will no longer mail the paper statement/advice to you. You can view the e-Statement/e-Advice through e-Statement/e-Advice Enquiry function, or download the e-Statement/e-Advice for your record.
  4. If you apply for the Consolidated e-Statement, all of your accounts will be listed in the Consolidated e-Statement. The Bank will no longer mail the paper statement(s) of the individual account to you.
  5. If you apply for the Securities Consolidated Daily/Monthly e-Statement, Funds Monthly e-Statement, Bonds/ Certificate of Deposit Daily/Monthly e-Statement and Equity Linked Investments/Structured Notes Daily/Monthly e-Statement successfully, transaction details of all securities accounts under your name will be listed in the Securities Consolidated Daily/Monthly e-Statement, Funds Monthly e-Statement, Bonds/ Certificate of Deposit Daily/Monthly e-Statement and Equity Linked Investments/Structured Notes Daily/Monthly e-Statement. The Bank will no longer mail any paper statement(s) in respect of each of your individual securities account to you.
  6. If you apply for the precious metal and FX margin trading account daily/monthly e-Statement successfully, transaction details of all precious metal and FX margin trading accounts under your name will be listed in the precious metal and FX margin trading account daily/monthly e-Statement(s). The Bank will no longer mail any paper statement(s) in respect of each of your individual precious metal and FX margin trading account to you.
  7. If you apply for the notional precious metals passbook account and structured investments e-Advices/e-Confirmations successfully, transaction details of all notional precious metals passbook account and structured investments trading accounts under your name will be listed in the notional precious metals passbook account and structured investments trading account e-Advice(s)/e-Confirmation(s). The Bank will no longer mail any paper advice(s)/confirmation(s) in respect of each of your individual notional precious metals passbook account and structured investments trading account to you.
  8. If you apply for the currency linked investments monthly e-Statement/e-Advices/e-Confirmations successfully, transaction details of all currency linked investments under your name will be listed in the currency linked investments monthly e-Statement/e-Advice(s)/e-Confirmation(s). The Bank will no longer mail any paper monthly statement(s)/advice(s)/confirmation(s) in respect of each of your individual currency linked investments account to you.
  9. If you apply for the Non-Investment Products e-Advice successfully, the Bank will no longer mail any paper advice(s) of the Non-Investment Products under your name (please click here to visit the prevailing types of e-Advice provided by the Bank). You can login Internet Banking to view the e-Advices.
  10. If you want to register e-Statement for the joint account, the signing arrangement of the joint account must be "either-one-to-sign" effective.
  11. Consolidated Statement, Securities Consolidated Daily Statement, Funds Statement/Advice, Notional Precious Metals Passbook Account Advices/Confirmations, Structured Investments Advices/Confirmations, Currency Linked Investments Statement/Advices/Confirmations, Bonds/Certificate of Deposit Statement/Advices and Equity Linked Investments and Structured Notes Statement/Advice and Non-investment Products Advice for the joint account cannot be registered via Internet or Mobile Banking.
  12. If the signing arrangement of the joint account(s) is/are "both-to-sign", the account(s) will not be listed on the Consolidated e-Statement.
  13. You may unsubscribe the electronic statement & advice by logging in to our Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, calling our Customer Service Hotline or visiting any of our branches. The Bank will resume mailing the paper statement/advice without any charges once the e-Statement/e-Advice service is cancelled.
  14. The e-Statement is available in Chinese and English for your selection under the e-Statement/e-Advice language setting. This function is only applicable to consolidated e-Statements, securities e-Statements, funds e-Statements/advices, notional precious metals passbook account e-Advices/e-Confirmations, structured investments e-Advices/e-Confirmations, currency linked investments e-Statement/e-Advices/e-Confirmations, bonds/certificate of deposit e-Statements/e-Advices and equity linked investments/structured notes e-Statement/e-Advice and is not applicable to credit card e-Statements and non-investment products advices.
  15. For the instruction of life insurance statement / notice issued by BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited (“BOC Life”), customers are required to conduct setting through BOC Life e-service platform.

Paper Statement Request

  1. Paper statement request is applicable to e-Statements (not applicable to non-investment products e-Advices and Private Banking e-Statements).
  2. A handling fee of HKD 50 will be charged for each additional statement (handling fee of US Credit Card is USD 6 and no fee for BOC Express Cash Card).
  3. The paper statement(s) request will be posted by ordinary mail.
  4. You can request to retrieve your Consolidated Statements of the past 24 months. For Consolidated Statements of the past 7 years, please contact Customer Service Hotline at (852) 3988 2388 or visit any of our branches.
  5. You can request to retrieve your BOC Credit Card and BOC Express Cash Card statements of the past 24 months. Each statement can only requested once per 24 hours. For statements of the past 7 years, please contact Customer Service Hotline at (852) 2853 8828.

Paper Consolidated Statement Monthly Fee


Fee Detail

With effect from 1 January 2022, a Paper Consolidated Statement Monthly Fee of HK$5 per customer per month will be imposed on customers who continue to receive paper Consolidated Monthly Statements.

The Fee is applicable to the following monthly statements:
  • Personal Consolidated Monthly Statement
  • Personal Current Account Monthly Statement

Fee Waiver

The Fee will be waived for the following customers:
  • Customers aged below 18
  • Customers aged 65 or above
  • Recipients of Disability Allowances/Old Age Allowances/Comprehensive Social Security Assistance Scheme

  7. If the signing arrangement of the joint account(s) is/are "both-to-sign", the account(s) will not be listed on the Consolidated e-Statement.
  8. The Bank will resume mailing the paper statement once the e-Statement service is cancelled.
