    • Yes, you may check your account balance(s) and transaction history of the following accounts:
      • BND current and multi-currency savings accounts
      • Foreign currency current accounts and HKD savings accounts

  2. How many days of transaction records are available on Internet Banking?
    • You can view all transactions for the last 45 days.

  3. Are the online exchange rates most updated?
    • The online exchange rates are for reference only. You will be notified of the actual rate prior to your confirmation of every transaction.

  4. Can I view the balance of registered third party's account on Internet Banking?
    • No, you cannot view the balance of registered third party's account on Internet Banking.

Use of two-factor authentication

  1. What is a two-factor authentication?
    • Two-factor authentication uses a combination of two different factors for verifying a user's identity.

  2. What types of two-factor authentication does Internet Banking support?
    • Internet Banking currently supports Security Device.

  3. What types of services in Internet Banking require two-factor authentication?
    • Two-factor authentication is required for designated transactions such as registration of third party accounts and changing personal information.

  4. Do I need to register the two-factor authentication first?
    • Yes. If you do not register the two-factor authentication, please visit our Brunei branch for registration.
    • If you have register the two-factor authentication, you may also register Security Device at Brunei branch or online.

  5. Are there any service charges for using two-factor authentication?
    • There is no additional charge for two-factor authentication.

  6. Can I cancel the usage of Security Device?
    • Yes, you may simply visit any of our Brunei branch to return the Security Device and cancel the usage.

  7. If my Security Device is stolen or lost, what should I do?
    • If your Security Device is stolen or lost, please contact our staff immediately.

  1. Can I set up an Internet Banking User Name?
    • Yes, you can use 8-13 alphanumeric, '_', '-' and '.' to set up your Internet Banking User Name.

  2. During the first login, do I need to change the Internet Banking Password?
    • You should change your Internet Banking Password during your first login. The new password is only applicable to Internet Banking.

  3. Can I change my Internet Banking Password?
    • Yes, you can change your Internet Banking Password anytime. Your new password should comprise of at least 8 characters and/or numbers (with no space or symbol), and must be different from your Internet Banking No. / User Name and your previous Internet Banking Password.

  4. Is Internet Banking secure?
    • Security is our top priority. Every time you login to Internet Banking, you must provide your Internet Banking No./ User Name and your Internet Banking Password. If there's no activity after a short period of time, your online session will be terminated to prevent unauthorized access.

  5. Is the service available 24 hours?
    • Yes, you can login to Internet Banking anytime you need. However, several services are subject to the trading hours. Please refer to the help page of the corresponding sections.

  6. Can I access Internet Banking from overseas?
    • Yes, with the recommended browser and Internet access, you can login Internet Banking anywhere around the world.

  7. What would happen if my computer crashed or I am disconnected from the Internet when an online transaction is in process? How do I know if that transaction is completed?
    • A reference number will be provided for each completed transactions, or you may check the transaction history after you login again. Should you have any questions, please call our Customer Service Hotline.

  8. Can I adjust the screen display when using Internet Banking service?
    • The browser allows you to adjust the display size. You may zoom in the screen display simply by pressing "Ctrl" and "+" on the keyboard at the same time. To zoom out, please press "Ctrl" and "-" on the keyboard simultaneously. Please note that this feature may vary with different browsers.
