Golfer Insurance - Summary of Coverage

Section Coverage Maximum Benefit (HKD) 1. HOLE-IN-ONE Expenses incurred by the Insured in celebration of accomplishing a hole-in-one. $10,000 per event $40,000 per period of insurance 2. GOLFING EQUIPMENT Accidental loss of or damage to the Insured's golfing equipment whilst in transit to or from or whilst at any recognised golf club. $20,000 per period of insurance $2,000 per item 3. PERSONAL EFFECTS Accidental loss of or damage to personal effects belonging to the Insured in any recognised golf club (excluding jewellery, gold, silver and other precious metal articles, watches, furs, cash, credit cards and cheques). $5,000 per period of insurance $1,000 per item 4. PERSONAL ACCIDENT Death or accidental bodily injury sustained by the Insured whilst playing or practising golf in any recognised golf course.    - Death or loss of one or more limbs or eyes    - Temporary Total Disablement $500,000 per period of insurance $500 per week up to 104 weeks 5. 		Exclusions

No compensation shall be payable for the following :   1. Without a "hole-in-one" certificate issued by a recognised golf club.   2. Loss or damage caused by or resulting from wear and tear or deterioration.   3. Loss of golf balls (other than by fire) not contained in the bag at the time of loss.   4. Wearing apparel.   5. Damage to golfing equipment while playing.   6. Loss of or damage to watches, jewellery, gold, silver, precious stones, precious metal articles, furs, trinkets, medals, coins, cash, credit cards, cash cards, cheques, stamps, documents, securities, or motor vehicle and its contents.   7. Death or bodily injury caused by insanity, intemperance, suicide, intentional self injury, any unlawful act, pregnancy, childbirth, gradually operating cause, infirmity, pre-existing physical or mental defect of the Insured.   8. Bodily injury of a member of the Insured, his/her family member or employee.   9. Loss of or damage to property under the control of the Insured, his/her family member or employee.   10. Sum of indemnity agreed by the Insured to pay.   11. Loss of or damage to property caused by the following:     (a) Invasion, civil war , mutiny, rebellion, revolution, resurrection, military riot or civil commotion     (b) Ionising radiation or contamination by radioactivity or nuclear weapons     (c) Pressure waves caused by aircraft and other aerial devices This is only a general summary of coverage. 		Claims Procedure

1. In the event of any claims, please inform immediately the Bank of China Group Insurance Company Limited by way of written notice (9/F Wing On House, 71 Des Voeux Road Central, Hong Kong) or by telephone at (852) 2867 0888 or fax to (852) 2522 1705.   2. Submit official receipts, medical certificates and diagnosis reports issued by the attending registered medical practitioner to the Bank of China Group Insurance Company Limited for claims in respect of medical and other expenses.   3. Report to the Police at the place of loss within 24 hours upon discovery of any loss of money or property and obtain a Police report.   4. In no event should a claim be notified to the Bank of China Group Insurance Company Limited later than 30 days after expiry of the Policy.
